TITLE OF BILL:
 
An act in relation to authorizing Congregation RSK to receive retroac-
tive real property tax exempt status
 
 
PURPOSE:
 
To authorize the assessor of the Town of Ramapo to accept an application
for exemption from real property taxes for the years 2021
 
- 2022 from Congregation RSK.
 
 
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
 
Section 1. Authorizes the assessor of the town of Ramapo to accept an
application for exemption from real property taxes pursuant to section
420-a of the real property tax law with respect to the 2021 - 2022
assessment from Congregation RSK.
 
Section 2. Sets the effective date.
 
 
JUSTIFICATION:
 
Congregation RSK is a not for profit tax exempt organization that owns
real property located in Rockland County at 68 Highview Road, in the
hamlet of Monsey, town of Ramapo.
