CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE AND ASSEMBLY
providing for the election of six Regents of the
University of the State of New York
WHEREAS, The current terms of the Regents of the University of the
State of New York elected from the second and fifth Judicial Districts
are vacant due to resignation; and
WHEREAS, The terms of the Regents of the University of the State of
New York elected from the third and thirteenth Judicial Districts and
the terms of two Regents of the University of the State of New York
elected At Large expire on the thirty-first day of March in the year two
thousand twenty-four; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That pursuant to the provisions of
section 202 of the education law, the vacancies created by the
expiration of these terms and for other cause are hereby filled by
concurrent resolution; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Hasoni Pratts of the county
of Kings be elected Regent of the University of the State of New York
from the second Judicial District for a term of one year commencing
immediately; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Dr. Seema Rivera of the
county of Albany be elected Regent of the University of the State of New
York from the third Judicial District for a term of five years
commencing on the first day of April in the year two thousand
twenty-four; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Patrick A. Mannion of the
county of Onondaga be elected Regent of the University of the State of
New York from the fifth Judicial District for a term of two years
commencing immediately; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Dr. Christine D. Cea of the
county of Richmond be re-elected Regent of the University of the State
of New York from the thirteenth Judicial District for a term of five
years commencing on the first day of April in the year two thousand
twenty-four; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Dr. James E. Cottrell of the
county of New York be re-elected At Large a Regent of the University of
the State of New York for a term of five years commencing on the first
day of April in the year two thousand twenty-four; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Wade S. Norwood of the county
of Monroe be re-elected At Large a Regent of the University of the State
of New York for a term of five years commencing on the first day of
April in the year two thousand twenty-four.
