On Saturday, October 28, more than 1,000 local residents and their families attended Halloween Fest hosted by Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st AD) and Nassau County in Baldwin. Residents enjoyed music, food, face painting, a decorate your own pumpkin station and a best costume contest at the free event at Milburn Park.

“We had such a great turnout for this year’s event,” said Curran. “This event gives local families a chance to get out, interact with other members of the community and have a lot of fun. The community involvement in events like this is what makes our district so great. This year’s event would not have been possible without all of our sponsors and our partnership with Nassau County.”

In addition to Nassau County, the following sponsors helped to make the event possible:

  • Ridgewood Savings Bank
  • New Old Venice Inn
  • Mahler Realty
  • New York Equestrian Center
  • The Baldwin Fire Department
  • Baldwin Sanitary District #2
  • Diane Baumann KIDZ Entertainment
  • Baldwin High School
  • Baldwin Little League
  • Geri Barish, President Hewlett House
  • Baldwin Civic Association
