"Over time, as assessments continue to rise, more and more co-op units has fallen out of the program. This bill would increase the assessment value from thirty to thirty-two and tie it to an index so it'll can keep increasing over the years to keep units from falling out of the program," said Assemblyman Braunstein in support of legislation that relates to the eligibility of J-51 tax abatements to reflect cost of living adjustments.
