Providing a new pathway to high-school graduation
Assemblymember Bronson is working to create a Career and Technical Education (CTE) diploma to give students the opportunity to learn a specific trade before graduation (A.8189). A CTE diploma would prepare students for the future by allowing them to replace electives with technical classes in fields that need trained workers, such as machining and IT development.

We need to help offset training costs for local employers and better prepare our workforce for the quality jobs that are available. Assemblymember Bronson is working to provide state funding to educational institutions, not-for-profits, industry public-private partnerships and individuals for the training and certification needed to enter the field of advanced manufacturing (A.7673).
