Assemblymember McMahon: 2019 Community Survey is your chance to Voice Concerns

Assemblymember Karen McMahon (D-Amherst/Pendleton) announced that her 2019 community survey is now online.

“As a lifelong Western New Yorker and the new representative for the 146th Assembly District, I want to make sure our region moves in the right direction,” McMahon said. “This survey is an opportunity to provide input that will help me better serve our communities and be the strong voice we need in Albany.”

Assemblymember McMahon’s survey seeks constituents’ thoughts on important issues that would impact the region, including the proposed Amherst expansion of the NFTA Metro Rail, as well as statewide measures such as the proposed legalization of recreational marijuana. The survey also touches on topics such as taxes, funding for local schools, health care and environmental protections and asks residents to voice additional comments and concerns.

Assemblymember McMahon invites members of the community to participate in the survey by filling it out on her website at nyassembly.gov/McMahon. For more information about this or any other community issue, do not hesitate to contact her office at 716-634-1895 or mcmahonk@nyassembly.gov.
