Senate Majority Pick Up Where They Left Off: Shipping Jobs Out of New York State

“These Senate Majority politicians have been insistent that they’re different than the group that raised taxes, spiked spending and cut Long Island school aid during their last disastrous tenure controlling the chamber. They were billed as professionalized and ready for prime-time. After killing a deal between Amazon and the state that would’ve created 25,000 jobs and generated $27 billion in tax revenue, the Senate Majority have proven one thing- they would rather play politics than invest in opportunity and grow our economy.

“Additionally, I hope this is a wake-up call for the governor. Let's work to create an economy in New York State that works for businesses big and small. Let’s cut taxes and reform regulations across the board so that our economy is competitive and attractive, period.”
