Queens, NY– Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D-Fresh Meadows) kicked off Chanukah celebrations together with the Bayside Hills Civic Association and Chabad of Northeast Queens. On the first night of the holiday, Rozic introduced local Cantor Smith who led the lighting and singing in Bayside Hills. Later, in Bay Terrace, Rozic joined the lighting of a huge Menorah — lit by Rabbi Yossi Blesofsky elevated in a cherry picker. Rozic wishes the families of Eastern Queens a warm and happy holiday season.
