Assemblyman Colton’s “Clean Sweep” Campaign Continues With Local Youth Groups During Earth Day Weekend

Assemblyman Colton (D-47th A.D.) is planning another community clean-up with his up-and-coming luminary Priscilla Consolo. The most recent scheduled community clean-up will be just in time for the annual celebration of EARTH DAY!

This will be the Assemblyman’s fourth neighborhood clean-up campaign. If the turn-out is anything like the previous three, the Assemblyman is expecting anywhere between three-to-four hundred volunteers. In the last clean-up, Priscilla was successful in bringing together a coalition of over 440 kids from various schools, organizations and community groups, who swept targeted streets and avenues, collecting the filth and debris and bringing it to Department of Sanitation (DOS) collection points.
