Brabenec, Assembly Minority Unveil Budget Priorities at Albany Press Conference

Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C,I-Deerpark) stood with members of the Assembly Minority Conference to unveil a list of 10 budget priorities aimed at spurring business growth, aiding New York’s most vulnerable residents and empowering middle-class prosperity at a press conference held by Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb (R,C-Canandaigua).

“Our state is headed down a treacherous path and it is time we focused on issues important to everyday, middle-class New Yorkers, rather than fringe policies aimed at scoring political points,” Brabenec said. “Our ‘Budget Blueprint for a Better NY’ is a comprehensive, bi-partisan package that will help everyone from students to homeowners to direct care workers and commuters. I am calling on Speaker Heastie and state leaders to join us in making these proposals a reality in this year’s budget.”
