“The governor’s agenda was so out of left field today relative to our needs, I don’t think even Aaron Judge could field this one.

“New Yorkers made their needs clear last fall – public safety, school choice, taxes, inflation – but Gov. Hochul continues to bury her head in the sand to placate the partisan radicals running our state.

“While ensuring safe and adequate housing is important, especially in New York City, it would better serve the governor to control our massive hemorrhaging of residents from the state so we have enough families to occupy new housing.

“Additionally, it seems we have a dangerous repeat criminal out on bail every day and the governor made it clear today that she believes bail reform has not contributed to rising crime.

“Regardless of the governor’s misguided agenda, my focus will remain the same – repealing cashless bail, supporting our police, fixing the city’s broken transit system and bringing down inflation.”
