Assemblyman Santabarbara Receives Perfect Score from The New York League of Conservation Voters
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara recently announced that the New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV) awarded him a perfect score for his commitment to environmental protection. The score was based on his support for key pieces of legislation that align with the goals of the NYLCV of protecting the health of our children, reducing toxins in the environment and paving the way toward a healthier, greener future.
“I’m proud to receive a perfect score again this year from the New York League of Conservation Voters. Clean water, clean air and renewable energy are all important to safeguarding public health and protecting our environment for future generations,” said Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara. “I look forward to continuing our ongoing efforts toward building more sustainable, vibrant communities.”
The NYLCV’s annual State Legislative Environmental Scorecard is their method for holding representatives accountable. In consultation with their partners from environmental, environmental justice, public health and transportation groups, the NYLCV identifies priority bills that have passed and those they believe have a chance of becoming law for inclusion in their annual scorecard.
