Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, in partnership with Hill & Markes, Inc., a local wholesale distributor, will be delivering backpacks full of supplies for students in need to the Jefferson Elementary School, an elementary school in the Schalmont Central School District, in Santabarbara’s hometown of Rotterdam, as part of the “Backpack Giveback” program – this year’s goal of providing 1,100 backpacks filled with supplies and a motivational note to help benefit children in need for the upcoming school year.
