Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara in partnership with the Rotterdam United Soccer Club (RUSC) will take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new RUSC Little Free Library. RUSC Little Free Library is a place where adults and children can read and share books at the local outdoor soccer club. Duanesburg teacher and parent, Erin Goodwin, has spearheading this program making it her mission to bring “Literacy for All”.

Each soccer season, many hours are spent at the RUSC Soccer fields during practice and games. And, while family members are waiting for practice to finish, it is a perfect time to read a book! Siblings are often brought to the soccer field for a practice or game. What better way to keep them occupied, but by reading a book! We hope that shooting for your goals in soccer, can also spread your love of reading!
