Assemblyman Santabarbara Announces Funding for Montgomery County’s First Craft Brewery
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara announced state funding awarded to Montgomery County through the New York State’s Department of Agriculture’s Regional Economic Development Council. Montgomery County will receive $100,000 in funding for Eisenadler Brauhaus, a new microbrewery located in the Village of Nelliston, and the County’s first craft brewery that will produce handcrafted microbrews, with a specialization on Bavarian style beers.
As a member of the New York State Assembly’s Committee on Agriculture, Assemblyman Santabarbara has been an advocate for initiatives that support the growth of New York’s food and beverage industries.
“The craft beverage industry contributes a great deal to the state’s economy, and this funding will bring the first craft brewery to Montgomery County,” said Assemblyman Santabarbara “Eisenadler Brauhaus will not only produce high quality beverage products here in New York State but also support local producers in Montgomery County.”
