Assemblyman Santabarbara Statement on Governor's Announcement Regarding Graduation Ceremonies

Today’s decision from the Governor’s office to allow high school graduation ceremonies to take place this year as of June 26th was the right thing to do. High school seniors have been in a world of uncertainty, isolation, and fear, during a time that should be a celebration of achievement. This is a BIG WIN for these students, and their families for so many reasons. Thanks to all who signed my petition and voiced support for my letters calling for the necessary guidelines to allow these students to be together one last time for this special milestone. Congrats Class of 2020!
