| WHAT: | On Wednesday, May 19, State Senator Michelle Hinchey (SD-46) and Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara (AD-111) will join with members of the Rotterdam Emergency Medical Services in calling for the passage of bill S.3503C / A.1561C, which would establish the New York State Rural Ambulance Services Task Force. Speakers will stress the urgent need to pass this legislation to study the stark challenges facing rural emergency medical service (EMS) providers and identify long-term solutions to keep these services available to rural residents across New York State. |
