“I am disappointed that Sky West decided to leave Plattsburgh International Airport. The pandemic certainly played a part in this decision because of travel restrictions and the border closure but the flight to Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. was such an important flight because of how easy it is to find a connecting flight to anywhere in the world. Between tourism and business opportunities across the North Country, we’ve proven that there is a need for this flight, and I am confident that another airline will come to the Plattsburgh International Airport.
