“The recent announcement that Canada is lifting some of their border restrictions to make it easier for vaccinated travelers to visit the United States is a good first step but we need more guidance from both federal governments so that we can prepare for the future. We need an expedited phased-in approach so border communities are not left in the dark in the future. The requirements should be the same on both sides of the border and I will continue to push for dropping the testing requirement.”
