Assemblyman Billy Jones (D-Chateaugay Lake) and his daughter, Ella, visited Bilow Farms, LLC in Malone this week, New York to check out their new state-of-the-art 100 cow rotating parlor which includes a viewing parlor for educational purposes and for visitors to come watch the milking process. Just days ago, the farm milked their first cows using the new technology and filled their first milk truck. The Bilow family and employees worked around the clock to set up the new system and were very thankful to the Malone community who helped them through this process including Giuseppe’s Pizza and the Malone Dunkin Donuts that provided refreshments to get them through the long days and nights.

“This is an incredible investment in the North Country agriculture industry,” said Jones. “As a member of the New York State Assembly Agriculture committee, it is important to see this type of advancement in farm technology. As a former dairy farmer, the advancement in technology is truly unbelievable and it is great to see the community come out and show their support to Bilow Farms during this transition. This took a lot of time and investment, but this kind of technology in our region will improve how local farms operate in the future.”
