Assemblyman Jones: Phase III Announcement a Welcomed Relief
The Governor announced today that the North Country region is cleared for the Phase III regional reopening. This includes limited indoor restaurant seating as well as personal care services such as appearance enhancement practitioners, massage therapy, spas, cosmetology, nail specialty, UV and non-UV tanning, or waxing. North Country officials, health departments, healthcare institutions, their personnel, and North Country residents as a whole, continue to do their part to stop the spread and I am thankful that all our hard work has paid off.
We must continue the process of safely reopening to ensure that our North Country economy can continue to move forward and recover. I wish the best of luck to the businesses in this next phase and thank you for your continued commitment to our community. I am hopeful that our neighbors to the north will be allowed to re-enter the country and frequent these businesses as well as visit their loved ones. The work does not end here, I will continue to work to help more businesses be included in Phase III and I am hopeful that as we work together, further sectors of our economy will be opened.
