Bronx, NY – On June 13th, at the intersection of 156th and Concourse Village West, Assembly Member Chantel Jackson partnered with Council Member Althea Stevens, Senator Luis R. Sepulveda, Senator Jose M. Serrano, Congress Member Ritchie Torres, and N.Y.C. District Council of Carpenters, to host the School's Out! Summer Social. This community event celebrated youth as they continued to work hard during their last few weeks of school in anticipation of summer vacation. The Summer Social provided an afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and free Icies that helped everyone cool off as they kicked off the summer in style.

This initiative reflected Jackson's ongoing efforts to support local families and ensure children had access to safe and enjoyable activities outside the school year. Many community members joined in celebrating the start of summer. Whether they enjoyed a refreshing Icy, or vibrant atmosphere, the School's Out! Summer Social was the perfect way to begin the transition from the school year to summer vacation.
