Crouch: Southern Tier Will Need Our Own ‘Wall’ To Stop New Yorkers from Fleeing Cuomo’s Taxes

A Statement from Assemblyman Clifford W. Crouch (R-Bainbridge)
January 15, 2019

“Once again this year Governor Cuomo has put forth an ambitious and progressive agenda aimed at the needs of New York City politicians. As more and more residents and small businesses flee the state’s high taxes and over regulation, the Governor and the Assembly Majority continue to feed their spending addiction by sending your tax dollars to New York City. At this rate we are going to need to build our own wall in the Southern Tier to keep residents from fleeing Governor Cuomo’s high taxes.”

“With both houses of the legislature being controlled by downstate politicians, this session it’s imperative that the Southern Tier and Upstate New York receive our fair share of funding. Whether the Governor knows it or not, the state continues after Westchester County and the MTA is not the only piece of New York State infrastructure that is in dire need of repair or updating.”
