Crouch: Good Session for New York City, Upstate Not So Much

A Statement from Assemblyman Clifford W. Crouch (R-Bainbridge)
June 20, 2019

“In all my years spent in the New York State Assembly, I am not sure I have ever seen a session more aimed at the needs of special interests and New York City politicians. Time and time again the Assembly Majority has prioritized the needs of criminals and illegal immigrants while ignoring the average upstate New Yorker.

“Illegal immigrants will now be issued driver’s licenses despite overwhelming opposition across New York and hundreds of family farms could potentially be forced to be shut down due to dangerous legislation written by New York City politicians.”

“Overall I was very disappointed in the direction this Legislative Session took. But I am encouraged, driven and more energized than ever to continue to fight for you.”
