Assemblyman Dan Stec (R,C,I-Queensbury) poses with Scarlett Moore of Westport as part of Monday’s Students Inside Albany Conference.

Assemblyman Dan Stec (R,C,I-Queensbury) recently honored Westport resident Scarlett Moore in the Assembly Chamber as part of the League of Women Voters 14th Annual Students Inside Albany Conference. Scarlett was chosen to represent Stec’s district at the conference, which is designed to increase students’ awareness of their responsibility in representative government and give them the tools to interact in the public policy process.

“I was happy to honor Scarlett in the Assembly Chamber on Monday,” Stec said. “It is important to have young students interact with the public policy process firsthand and familiarize them with how state government functions. I enjoyed our experience and look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise regarding state government with other students.”
