Our nation is experiencing an unprecedented assault on the rule of law. Because of this, it is more important than ever for us to understand and stand up for our rights. Every person in the United States has rights under the United States constitution and other federal laws. New Yorkers have additional rights per our state constitution and state laws.

In an effort to keep the community informed about our rights, my office will keep this page updated with authoritative information from the Attorney General’s office and other organizations. If you know of additional lists or resources you feel should be added to this page, please send us an email at district95@nyassembly.gov.
