‘Never Again,’ Norber Shares Remarks in Albany on Holocaust Remembrance Day
Assemblyman Daniel Norber (R,C-Great Neck) used Holocaust Remembrance Day to reflect on the lessons of the Holocaust and the importance of combating rising antisemitism and hate in today’s world.
“Today we honor the six million Jews and countless others who perished in one of history’s darkest chapters,” said Norber. “As the grandson of Holocaust survivors, this day holds deep personal meaning for me. My grandfather foresaw the horrors to come but was ignored—his entire family and village were lost. Today, with rising antisemitism, we must remain vigilant. Hate speech and violence threaten our communities, and it is our duty to educate, speak out and stand united against all forms of hate. Together, we must ensure ‘Never Again’ is more than a phrase—it is our shared commitment.”
