“Today we got another reminder of just how out of touch and out of their minds the radical Majority lawmakers running our state government are. Last year we saw them jam through the largest and most irresponsible budget in history. This year’s proposal is even bigger. At $216 billion in proposed spending, you really have to start wondering if they even understand basic economics.

“$10 billion to rebuild our health care system? Another $31 billion to fix our school system and a ‘War on Potholes’? You’ve got to be kidding! Gov. Hochul and her criminal predecessor single-handedly destroyed our health care system by firing tens of thousands of health care heroes. They destroyed our school system by locking our kids down and preventing them from learning, and they neglected our infrastructure by letting our roads and bridges fall into disrepair.

“Instead of continuing radical, ridiculous spending policies, Gov. Hochul ought to take a long, hard look at the reckless policies she has enacted that are causing the problems her and the Majority politicians are trying to buy their way out of.”
