DiPietro Calls For Commissioner King To Resign
While debating New York’s Common Core curriculum today, Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C – East Aurora) called for Education Commissioner John King, Jr. to resign, citing his failures at implementing the controversial program across the state.
“Commissioner King has proven himself to be unfit for his position,” DiPietro said. “He has utterly failed at implementing this social experiment, and has been unwilling to compromise his position of full implementation at the cost of our children and education system. Our children deserve better. It’s time for Commissioner King to step down and remove himself from the process so we can have a fresh start with someone interested in hearing dissenting voices.”
