Acting Supreme Court Justice Thomas McNamara ruled yesterday against the Second Amendment he is sworn to uphold. The Second Amendment could not be clearer. ‘The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.’ The right of the individual to protect himself is just as important as our right to free speech, a free press and freedom of religion. We must continue the fight to restore our rights. We mustn’t get discouraged by minor speed bumps. This law will be repealed either through court action or through the legislature. We cannot lose hope.
