DiPietro Meets With NYSUT Reps To Discuss Gov. Cuomo’s War On Education
March 4, 2015
Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C – East Aurora) met with over a dozen representatives of New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) from his district in Albany this week. The meeting stressed issues such as Common Core, school aid runs, and ending the Gap Elimination Adjustment (GEA) this budget season.
“NYSUT has been a key ally and force when combating the governor’s war on children and on families,” DiPietro said. “I look forward to continuing our work together this budget season. What Gov. Cuomo has done thus far to our school systems is unacceptable, and no one has seen it firsthand like NYSUT. Together, this year, we will eliminate the GEA, fully fund our schools, and stop Common Core dead in its tracks.”
