Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C-East Aurora) honored two prominent local citizens in Wales last week. Edmund ‘Bud’ Bogucki and town historian Dee Zeigel both received official Assembly proclamations from DiPietro for ceaseless town service and their dedication to the community.

Bogucki is a local veteran and current chaplain of the Elma Marilla Wales Sgt. Mark Rademacher VFW Post 5861. Zeigel is currently working on compiling a pictorial and written history on the town of Wales itself.

“I am immensely proud to honor both Mr. Bogucki and Mrs. Zeigel for all they do for Wales.” DiPietro said. “It is people like them who truly give a community its spirit. I would like to thank them once again for their service and celebrate their hard work.”
