Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C,I-East Aurora) will be offering a free Alzheimer’s Awareness Class on Wednesday, August 8, at the East Aurora Senior Center from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The session will focus on aspects of brain health such as cognitive awareness, physical health and exercise, diet and nutrition and social engagement. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the event. “This class is a wonderful opportunity to get the latest updates on Alzheimer’s Awareness and overall mental well being,” DiPietro said. “I encourage everyone interested to attend. I will be introducing Lauren Ashburn from the WNY Alzheimer's Association, be sure not to miss it!”
