Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C,I-East Aurora) recently attended a ceremony to celebrate 150 years of the East Aurora Fire Department’s service to their community. DiPietro honored the department’s storied history and both of its fire chiefs at the fire house.

“As a resident of East Aurora, let me say this fire department is one of the best in the state,” DiPietro said. “It was a great honor of mine to be able to celebrate their grand tradition protecting the people of our town. I always stand with the brave men and women who rush into danger to keep the rest of us safe and give us the peace of mind to go through our day-to-day lives. Thank you for your service and all you sacrifice for us.”
