Stand For New York Cuomo, Not Illegals

Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C,I-East Aurora) is once again voicing his opposition to the Green Light Bill from last session which granted illegal aliens the ability to obtain New York drivers’ licenses. The federal government has come into conflict with the Cuomo Administration once again and has revoked all New Yorker’s access to Trusted Traveler Programs. This comes on the heels of Gov. Cuomo’s attempts to limit ICE and other federal agencies’ activities within the state. Other federal programs that New Yorkers are being blocked from due to the governor’s policies are Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI and FAST.
“I’m absolutely disgusted by Gov. Cuomo’s hardline stance for illegal immigrants over the taxpayers of the state,” DiPietro said. “We continually pay the price for his misguided and fanatical obsession with making New York as progressive as possible. There’s no reason for a governor of any state to side with illegal aliens and lawbreakers over the very people he purports to govern. Every day New Yorkers are being forced to pay the price for this, when will it end?”
