“Yesterday, the Assembly Majority blocked a bill in the Ways and Means Committee that would have given tax cuts to veterans above the age of 85.

“This is an outrage. The same radical socialist wing of the Majority party that included $2.1 billion for stimulus checks to go to illegal immigrants can’t be bothered to offer a hand up for our real heroes.

“The new radical left wing has continued to astonish with their hypocrisy and unwillingness to work together. It is clear they have no regard for the ideas or best interests of anyone that disagrees with their politics.

“We need to hold these radicals accountable, people. I encourage you to contact your Majority Assemblymembers and ask them why they are giving $15,600 checks to illegals but unwilling to give our senior veterans a tax break that would put around $71 on average back in the pockets of true patriots.”
