Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C,I- East Aurora) proudly delivered $500 to the Charlotte House in North Java last week on behalf of recent fundraising efforts. The money raised will go to help the facility continue providing caring and compassionate end-of-life services to their residents.
The Charlotte House is a comfort care home located in Wyoming County that specializes in providing end-of-life care with the help of trained volunteers and staff. The house relies solely on donations, fundraising, grants, memorials, bequests and volunteers. The Charlotte House never charges residents or their families and greatly appreciates the gifts of time, money and supplies that help them continue providing care for terminally ill residents.
“It is my honor to be able to deliver this donation to the Charlotte House,” said DiPietro. “These men and women work day in and day out to provide loved ones with the most devoted and warm care possible. I am proud to stand beside the Charlotte House and their mission to help comfortably transition terminally ill friends and loved ones to the afterlife.
