McDonough to Host Mobile DMV Van Day
Assemblyman David G. McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) will host the state Department of Motor Vehicles’ mobile outreach van from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 1 at the Wantagh Public Library, 3285 Park Ave., Wantagh.
"I am pleased, along with the Wantagh Public Library, to host the mobile DMV van," said McDonough. "I urge everyone interested to call and schedule an appointment, and I look forward to seeing everyone there."
Mobile DMV outreach services usually include:
- Written exams for new driver applicants and issuance of learner permits
- Driver license and registration renewals
- Issuance of non-driver photo identification cards
- New vehicle registrations
- Review and printing of individual driving records
- Official changes of address to licenses and registrations.
Participants must bring their original Social Security cards.
Payment is by check, credit card or money order only.
