Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) was recently appointed as the Assembly Minority Conference’s representative on the Joint Senate and Assembly Budget Conference Committee on Transportation. McDonough was pleased to have the opportunity to represent his colleagues and constituents in this year’s budget negotiations. He currently serves as Ranking Minority Member on the Assembly’s Committee on Transportation.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to represent my conference as we head into more involved budget negotiations,” McDonough said. “I always have beaten the drum in Albany for public safety issues, and I plan to focus my efforts on our state’s crumbling infrastructure in this year’s budget. We owe it to the businesses and families that travel our roads and bridges each day to keep them out of harm’s way.”
