Queens, New York – Assemblyman David Weprin issued the following statement on the Terrorist Attack on the Mosques in Christchurch:

"I was horrified to learn of the despicable terrorist attack on the mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. We must stand united against Islamophobia and all forms of hatred as hateful activities increase in our own country and around the world. I stand in solidarity with the Muslim community and an attack on one of us is an attack on all of us. My heart goes out to the 49 victims of this heinous crime, their families, and loved ones.”
