On April 14, 2014, Assemblyman Braunstein congratulated Laiel Bravo, Grand Prize Winner of his Women’s History Month Art Contest 2014.
Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) announced the winner of his Women’s History Month Art Contest:
Laiel Bravo, a 6th Grade student at Adrien Block IS 25 in Flushing, who drew a portrait of Clara Barton, the Founder of the American Red Cross.
“Congratulations to Laiel. Nearly 150 students from schools in Queens participated in my Women’s History Month Art Contest and I was very impressed with their artistic entries,” said Assemblyman Braunstein.
