Gandolfo Rallies with Assembly and Senate Partners Calling For End To Crime Spree In NY
January 11, 2022
Assemblyman Jarett Gandolfo (R,C,I-Sayville) was joined by Assembly and Senate Minority today calling for a return to law and order in New York state. The rise in crime rates in heavily-populated areas, coupled with an inane focus on allowing reoffenders out time and again is counterintuitive to creating a safe state, Gandolfo argues.
“New York has seen a surge of crime, thanks to progressive lawmakers trying to seem tolerant rather than protecting our citizens,” Gandolfo said. “The state’s gun violence deaths alone have increased over the last five years by 60.1%, according to our Division of Criminal Justice Services. We need to repeal bail reform and once again empower local law enforcement to do their job of protecting our communities.”
