Mikulin to Host Blood Drive to Address Urgent Need

Assemblyman John Mikulin (R, C, - Bethpage) is joining Long Island Blood Services to host a community blood drive on January 27 to address the severe shortage blood banks across the state are experiencing. He encourages everyone who is able to donate to make an appointment. All donors will receive a McDonald’s gift certificate (courtesy of Long Island Blood Services) and be entered into a drawing to win a complete Mirror at-home gym package — complete with a 12-month membership!

“Donating blood is a simple act of selflessness that almost anyone can give,” said Mikulin. “It is the very definition of paying it forward because you never know when you or someone you love might be in need. Donating blood is safe, easy and does not take very long, so please consider becoming a donor. If you are a longtime donor, we thank you and need your help again. The shortage is real right now and we need help.”

The blood drive will be held on January 27 from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Levittown Fire Department, located at 120 Gardiners Avenue in Levittown.
