Mikulin: We Must Combat Campus Antisemitism to Keep New York Students Safe

Assemblyman John Mikulin (R,C-Bethpage) supports Assemblyman Ari Brown (R-Cedarhurst), Sen. Bill Weber (R,C) and fellow Senate and Assembly Minority Members in their advocacy for the “Combating Campus Anti-Semitism Act” (A.8399/S.7752). This proposal would prohibit the granting of tuition assistance awards to any student who has knowingly engaged in promoting antisemitism while attending a college or university in New York state.

“The antisemitism occurring on our college and university campuses is disgraceful,” said Mikulin. “Our students should feel safe and protected when attending school, no matter their religion. I fully support this proposal to eliminate antisemitism in our communities and keep New Yorkers safe.”
