Mikulin: 2025-26 Legislative Session Should Have Delivered More for New Yorkers

A Statement from Assemblyman John Mikulin (R,C-Bethpage) in response to the end of the 2025-26 Legislative Session.

“While the 2025-26 Legislative Session was extended in Albany, unfortunately, this extension did not deliver the positive changes New Yorkers were expecting. Affordability and public safety issues have persisted and will continue to drive New York families out of the state. It is my hope that the state budget and legislative session wrap up on time next year and the Assembly passes meaningful proposals here in Albany to help improve the lives of residents statewide.”
