“Today’s announcement of the governor’s support for term limits was welcome, so as we enter this upcoming session my hope is that she will be willing to work in earnest with members of our Conference on matters that have affected New Yorkers from all walks of life during the last several years. That means lowering taxes, utility rates and further supporting local economies with the faith that they can return to pre-pandemic conditions fully, keeping businesses here in New York instead of driving them away. I look forward to the rigorous debates and discussions that await us this year.”
