Lemondes To Host Blood Drives
Assemblyman John Lemondes (R,C-LaFayette) has met with representatives from the American Red Cross to begin planning a series of community blood drives that he will be sponsoring in the district throughout 2023. The drives will be announced later this spring.
“As our state faces a blood shortage, it is critical that donors step up, particularly those with rare blood types or Type O blood,” said Lemondes. “As every donation has the potential to help save the lives of three other people, it is truly a beautiful, life-saving gift. Thank you to everyone who donates, and know you are making a huge difference in the lives of others.”
Lemondes reminds constituents that the American Red Cross also offers a plethora of courses and training, including CPR, babysitting, and lifeguarding classes. To schedule a blood donation appointment, or learn more about a course, please go to their Web site.
