Assemblyman John Lemondes (R,C-LaFayette) announced that district allocations have recently been negotiated via the New York state budget for the State and Municipal Facilities Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability, and Technology (SAM/CREST) programs. These funds may be used for construction, improvement, rehabilitation or reconstruction of facilities owned by eligible entities. Equipment acquisition is also eligible, such as heavy-duty road maintenance and construction vehicles, pavers, snowplows, heavy-duty fire and emergency response and law enforcement vehicles.
All grant applications are due by Friday, Aug. 9, 2024. Applications can be submitted via email at lemondesj@nyassembly.gov or mailed to 69 South St., Auburn, NY 13021. Please contact Assemblyman Lemondes’ office at 315-255-3045 if you have any questions or need further assistance.
