Lemondes Presents Sam Grant Funding to The Town of Lafayette

Assemblyman John Lemondes (R,C-Lafayette) presented the Town of Lafayette with state funds today awarded through the State and Municipal Facilities Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability, and Technology (SAM/CREST) program. The town is slated to use this funding for winter material storage, as winter weather famously ravages the township every year as they combat it to keep roads clear and the community safe during the snowy season. Lemondes was honored to present the funding to the town.

“Our district is uniquely beautiful and resilient, and the Town of Lafayette is no different,” Lemondes said. “These funds will undoubtedly make life for the men and women who manage the town on behalf of its residents significantly easier, leaving them the time, resources and manpower to continue focusing on where to work next. I’m incredibly proud to present this funding to the Town of Lafayette, and I want to thank everyone who pushed to have Lafayette receive it.”
