- Assemblyman Yeger was sworn in as Assemblymember of the 41st District on January 8th, 2025.
- The Police Benevolent Association of New York City (PBA NYC) represents the rights of some Thirty-Three Thousand NYPD officers. During their recent visit to Albany, Assemblyman Yeger met with NYC PBA President Patrick Hendry, First Vice President Daniel Tirelli, Recording Secretary, Betty Carradero and Citywide Trustee Lethimyle Cleveland.
- Miri Ben Ami, mother of hostage Yosef Ohana, kidnapped on October 7th at the Nova Festival and still being held in captivity by Hamas, visited the Assembly Chamber, where she met with Assembly Speaker, Carl Heastie, Assemblymembers Yeger, Wieder, Eichenstein and Berger; receiving special recognition on the Assembly floor during legislative session.
- Tavor Leadership Academy of Israel is a 10-month program for high school graduates, prior to their enlistment in the IDF, training outstanding and motivated teenagers to face the complex challenges of Israeli society. The Assemblyman met with these impressive young people during their visit to Sheepshead Bay during the Annual Kings Bay YM-YWHA Purim Carnival.
- Assemblyman Yeger and Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein welcomed Tom Clark, Consul General of Canada in New York to the Assembly Chambers. The Consul General was accompanied by Deputy General Geoff Gartshore, Quebec Delegate General David Brulotte, Consul, and Senior Economic Officer of Ontario Trade and Investment Office in New York, Aaron Pinto, and representatives from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
- Assemblymembers Kalman Yeger and Sam Berger welcomed NYC Councilwoman Inna Vernikov to the Assembly Chamber. The Councilwoman is the first Ukrainian-born City Council Member and has been a fierce voice against the ever-increasing threat of antisemitic rhetoric and violence in NYC and beyond.
